Here, a small but very dedicated team confidently celebrates top cuisine. We had ordered a 6-course menu, but we lost track while counting ;-) The kitchen kept supplying additional little surprises. Every detail on the plate is visually lovingly designed and adds a new taste experience for the palate. In some cases, the preparation of the food is "outsourced" to the table, so that the guest is even more involved in the overall work of art. On a par with the kitchen is the loving care of the guests. We felt very comfortable in every respect and would be happy to come back!

As a regular visitor to starred restaurants, you naturally want to be pleasantly surprised again and again. The kitchen and its chef succeeded in doing this at the highest level during our visit! Please continue like this.

Visiting the Baltic Sea magician My son and I really liked the modern design of the new Balthazar with the illuminated wall niches. It simply fits perfectly with the modern and sophisticated kitchen art by star chef Oliver Pfahler. All dishes, the courses and greetings from the kitchen, were incredibly tasty, often full of surprises and all beautifully arranged and designed. Food as art for the palate and eyes is lived in the new Balthazar. Also worth mentioning was the competent and extremely friendly service, who always knew down to the last detail what served both of us. We'll be back at the Balthazar in a week and are really looking forward to this culinary monthly highlight. Jona and Ulf K.

Excellent compositions with excellent wine accompaniment! We were simply thrilled! Greatly created dishes that were completely convincing in terms of taste, appearance and consistency. The service and the wine accompaniment did the rest. A visit to the Balthazar is worth every euro and gives the guest an unforgettable evening. Thank you very much for that!

A really great evening in a great restaurant! Very exclusive! First class, friendly & competent staff. Allergies were taken very courteously and the dishes were explained excellently. The service was not only great, but also pleasantly relaxed, which made the evening even more enjoyable! We will warmly recommend the restaurant and will definitely come again! It was great fun and culinary it was a 1+ with *! The wine accompaniment was selected top and underlined the dishes perfectly! It was a perfectly perfect evening.

We cannot understand the last reviews. From the online booking to the service and of course to the meal, everything was perfect. Like last time, we wondered why the second star has not yet been awarded. We keep our fingers crossed and would love to come back !!

Villa Mare has a very nice ambience. This makes every celebration festive. The view of the water is also very nice. I would be happy to recommend it

We have known the house for many years, but today we went to "Villa Mare" for the first time to eat fondue. The cozy dining was supposed to take place in the wonderful wine cellar, but it was rescheduled at short notice and we were given a table in the main restaurant. The food was delicious, very good quality of fish, meat and side dishes. The salad was very tasty and fresh. The service ladies are unmatched friendly, courteous and competent. We felt very comfortable, will definitely come back and can give our full recommendation.

This year I was able to accompany a great wedding party at Villa Mare with the camera. The location of the location is really unique and of course the beach in front of the door offers many great motifs for wedding photos. I'm already looking forward to the next wedding in this location.

This gave us a mixed picture. The villa itself has something. The big hall basically too. However, the seating was chosen so that you felt like you were in the hallway. The service was not reasonable for the prices. The food however. It's a shame that the good cook is punished with poor service. There is a wine cellar in the basement. It is more rustic and the staff fits better there.

We spent our anniversary (evening) here and are still completely overwhelmed by this wonderful evening. The location is amazing! But the moment you take a seat, a dream begins. Two service goddesses take us on a journey through the evening with their personal and professional manner. At every moment attentive and full of dedication to your job and the goal of preparing guests for an unforgettable evening. We have fun from the first second. We choose our individual menu from the menu. But before we reach the first ordered course, we go through a whole country road of greetings from the kitchen. One explosion chases the next and the whole ceremony is accompanied by lovely details in the form of drawings on paper. Difficult to describe ... experience. We glide through various corridors from there and fall deeper and deeper in our enthusiasm. It would go beyond the scope here to go out on all levels. Everything is just right! Even when we have our espresso behind us, our "companions" do not rest and come to the table with more surprises. We close the evening with a tour of this wonderful house and the feeling of having experienced something very special. As the last guests, we pull away and promise to be back soon. Thank you for the nice evening.

We were guests at a very nice wedding. Very beautiful, splendid location, renovated, well-kept, beautiful garden with a view. Very attentive service, small bar / counter (a little bad location when it gets full), clean guest toilet. Small parking lot. All in all very nice!

Well, this place is really worth visiting. Villa Mare has remarkable view on the sea and beautiful sand beach. You will enjoy in a view and opportunity to have really beautiful beach just in a few steps...

Even if I "only" in the Grand 1904 eaten, but you notice at any time, that in the villa also a star restaurant is located. The three-course menu I have chosen has been excellent, the wine recommendation surprisingly and yet excellent, the service always attentive, professional and yet personal and warm. Thanks a lot for this!

Amazing culinary experience

excellent food at this michelin 1 star restaurant. we ate at the less formal Grand 1904, but the food was michelin 1 star level there as well. the service was fabolous - world class!
